Partner licensing is a new feature that lets you share the creator content you commission directly with the industry partners in your network — venues, BIDs, CVBs, regional DMOs, hospitality partners, and more. You shoot once. You choose who to share it with. They get access to content they couldn't easily source themselves.
When you commission a creator shoot through Creators, the content lands in your library as it always has. What's new is what you can do with it from there.
With share credits, you can extend individual pieces of content to specific partners in your network. Each share credit unlocks access for one partner to one shoot's worth of content. You purchase share credits in bundles, then use them whenever you're ready — partner by partner, shoot by shoot, on your schedule.
It's a deliberate process by design. You stay in control of who gets what, when. There's no blanket licensing, no unintended distribution. You commission the content, and you decide exactly where it goes.
Your partner network — CVBs, regional offices, rural destinations — needs content too. Many smaller organizations may nott have the budget for a creator program of their own. Partner licensing lets your statewide CrowdRiff Creators program become a resource for the whole network: commission shoots that serve your own channels, then choose which regional partners to extend access to. You keep full program control, while they get content from their own backyard.
Destination Ontario is just expanded their use of Creators to share content across 13 regions and 10 partners. "This is kind of a no-brainer," said Melissa Loomans-Beaudoin. "Our northern counterparts have asked how they could tap into our shoots. Creators has been a great solution." Visit California has scaled it even further: 14 regional DMO partners, 8 shoots per partner, more than 2,000 shoots delivered statewide.
City marketing teams are already juggling enough. Partner licensing means the content you're commissioning can do more work. The hotel that appeared in a shoot? Share it with them directly. The downtown business association asking for video assets? Extend access without fielding a separate production request. Same shoots. A lot more mileage.
Partner licensing is available now on eligible Creators plans. Share credits are purchased in bundles, and for a limited time, we're making it easier to get started.
