Holiday Happenings
With Thanksgiving next week, the official count down to the Christmas has begun! During this time, there is a magical transformation that takes place. This challenge is not just about capturing Holiday events but rather about showcasing the best and unique ways to celebrate in California.
Requirements
- The story must showcase a unique or epic holiday experience. Examples include: Riverside’s Mission Inn lights, Newport Beach Boat Parade, LegoLand Christmas tree and full town transformations.
- CrowdRiff Creator Stories submitted for this challenge must be real-time (2022 fall/winter). You cannot submit footage from prior years.
- All Stories must meet the base guidelines.
- Each creator can submit a maximum of 4 Stories for this challenge.
- Stories must be submitted by December 15th.
- Visit California reserves the right to not compensate Stories that do not fall under this theme or meet the posted requirements.
KIDIFORNIA
Imagine the most epic vacation of your life as a kid. Now, imagine what your most epic vacation would have looked like if you had full control of the trip! Unleash your inner child and experience the places you would have loved to be taken to as a kid. This challenge is all about showcasing epic and exciting activities through a kid-focused lens.
Requirements
- Stories must showcase an epic family-friendly activity. Think ziplining, horseback riding on the beach, taking in the magic of a theme park, visiting an aquarium, camping in a treehouse, doing an obstacle course and more!
- Stories must describe the activity in a family-friendly and informative way.
- Avoid showing other kids’ faces without consent. If featuring your own children, you are providing consent upon submission.
- All Stories must meet the base guidelines.
- Each creator can submit a maximum of 2 Stories for this challenge.
- Have more ideas? Please reach out for the potential to increase your story submission limit for this challenge. VCA will evaluate on a case-by-case basis.
- Stories must be submitted by February 5th.
- Visit California reserves the right to not compensate Stories that do not fall under this theme or meet the posted requirements.
